Yes, I can quote a complete installation whether I do the work myself or in conjunction with subcontractors. I also work on a time and material basis where a firm price quotation is in neither party's interest. Please note that the quotation is only as good as the scope of work provided by the customer. Where additional work is required extra costs may be incurred and these will be agreed to before work begins.
Costs can be controlled by having a detailed scope of work before the work begins. I supply detailed service reports that allow the costs to be tracked as work proceeds. I also provide communication with customers and encourage communication and questions

Yes, as an engineer and an electrician I am required to have Errors and Omissions and Commercial General Liability insurance. We carry more than the minimums required.
Yes, as of January 1 2013 all electrical contractors who work on anything other than privately owned single family dwellings to have and pay for WSIB. Should I use subcontractors with more than one employee for any aspect of the work, I require that they be covered by WSIB. Please note that 3.7% of my hourly labour goes to WSIB premiums.

Yes, by law I am required to apply for an electrical permit for any new electrical work. A permit is not generally required for repairs of like and kind replacement. Having a permit gives you some insurance that I am working to code which keeps you safe and your insurance company happy.
I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. My company has a Certificate of Authorization (CofA) in Ontario, to offer engineering services to the public. I am also a licensed Master Electrician and a licensed Electrical Contractor.
No, but I can offer the same dedicated service, experience and technical and hands on capability I provided customers when I worked for Calgon Carbon®. With the exception of proprietary parts I can also provide parts often faster and less expensive.
